Young Painters from Seville, THE CARNATIONS, documentation and file - Since 2001 several bands have performed in Seville: The Richard Channin Foundation, Blitz, Sala de Star, The Blind Man, Zemos98, Centro de Arte de Acción, Signos del Mediodía, Vulgarisarte... among others. This buzz is characteristic of the current spirit of young artists. Unavoidably something is happening and that will leave its trace. Los Claveles acts as a witness of this movement by keeping track and files of the material created in this peculiar context. At present, Los Claveles focuses on young painters. We are aware of the importance of establishing and keeping good relationships with all parts involved, like painters and artists. We welcome cooperation from all those involved. Los Claveles is not a group of painters, but a tool for keeping track of the work of the artists. As a starting point we keep a database of a number of painters, which doesn't stop others from being included. Our work consists on searching for those painters and valuing their work attending to their quality and production.
